Biography

Although more than a decade has passed since my very first lesson, I always find myself surprised and delighted by the new and interesting things that piano playing has to offer at every turn. As a music student, I have discovered that being able to read and play music is a valuable gift, one that not only grants a certain sense of achievement but which can also serve as a trusted companion throughout one's life. With my training in piano pedagogy and music theory, I am now in a position to share this gift with the people in my community.

I aim to be a well-rounded student in my studies at Rollins College. My professors have guided me in studying composition, conducting, and early music performance. I have been a member of the Rollins choir, orchestra, and jazz ensemble, and I sing with the Bach Festival Society of Winter Park. During the summer of 2021, I worked as a harpsichordist at Colonial Williamsburg! This was an amazing and informative experience that allowed me to share what I love with visitors from around the world. Check out the photo of me in costume below.

I am grateful to have received the Presser Undergraduate Scholar Award, given to rising seniors, from the Rollins College Department of Music in April 2022.
